I don't know what is going on and neither do the doctors. I have taken her in 3 times and her fevers keep spiking and she keeps coughing and puking and shaking.... She is doing ok right now but it comes in waves.
Please send us some get well vibes and prayers....

It's so hard to see your child so sick. Saying a prayer now that she gets better soon.

If you are concerned, go to the ER NOW!

I have been 2 times in the past week they say its just a virus...
I also took her to see her ped. same thing...

I agree! My next door neighbor's child (2 years old) had been having fever spikes for the past month.....it finally developed into meningitis. I don't mean to scare you but I would take my child to the ER. Hugs to your sweetie. :grouphug:

ETA: just saw your post....hope she gets better soon.

So many weird viruses going around--at our school we've had the high fever that goes up and down(like 104-105 degrees) with coughs that just make your ribs hurt when you hear them cough--definately not nice--some of the adults have had it and its been over 2 weeks!
I feel so bad for your DD and for you because it is so worrisome to see your child sick :( :grouphug:
Hope she gets feeling better soon!

hugs & prayers.
It is so difficult seeing your children sick-
Hang in there & be sure to take care of yourself, too :grouphug:

Prayers and Pixie dust to you and your daughter pixiedust: . I'm sure that the only thing worse than having your little one sick is not knowing what is wrong. Just hang in there and I'm sure that everything will turn out fine.

Prayers and hugs! :goodvibes

Hope all is well soon!

Please keep us posted.

Hello,
Prayers and Pixie dust pixiedust: sent from here as well. I just want to calm your nerves as well. We have three children 7, 4 and 2 all three have had what your daughter has, all the same symptoms. Our oldest son had a fever one day of 105  , now being a firefighter/EMT that worries me because anything over 106 and a child can start to have seizures. Contacted the doctor and they were seeing numerous children for the same problems.
Now as long as it's a virual infection all the treatment requires is either Motrin or Tylenol and plenty, plenty of liquid. Because, don't you know as soon as he was over it (he lost an entire week from school from it) our daughter gets it and when she was over it both my DW and youngest son got it.
They both were the worst of all of them luckily I didn't get it (knock on wood)
Just hang in there it takes about seven days for it to clear up.

Sending Prayer's, I hope your dd is feeling better soon! :grouphug:

Sure do hope she is feeling better real soon. A bummer when the kids are sick like that.

We are having the same thing here with my daughter, its been over 2 weeks now and it comes and goes. I figured its just a virus and the Dr cant do anything anyhow :confused3 Seems like everyone is having the same thing.....must be pretty nasty stuff

Hope she feels better soon. We had a virus running around town a few weeks ago that sounds very similar. It just took a while to go away.

My kids are just coming out of that NASTY virus. I was lucky (in a way) I'm a (part time) teacher and i got it before they did. 103.5 temp for 5 days so when they got it I was getting better and knew what it was that they had! But yes high fever for 5 days coughing so hard it causes throwing up it is horrible watching them. eventhough there cough is still here I think there fever is gone. Hopefully your dd will get better soon!
