Last night I look at my 6 year old DD and notice one of her Minnie Mouse earrings that she got a few weeks ago is GONE I ask her what happend to her earring, she feels her ear and then....starts SOBBING! I was floored because she normally doesn't react this way to things so I was trying to console her. She said they were her special Disney World earrings and she loved them and wanted to wear them for Christmas Eve with her dress DH and I looked EVERYWHERE we could think of but no luck! I knew DW merchandising would be closed at this point so i called the store where we got them to see if they could atleast give me the SKU so i had that when I call later today but they had no more of the earrings. I feel terrible, she cried for hours about it Hopefully merchandising will be able to identify the earrings by my description and I can order another pair for her!! I know she won't have them for Christmas but after I told her what I was trying to do, she didn't care, she just wanted her special earrings I just needed to share my sad story with everyone as I knew you guys would understand....thanks for listening

On a side note...as I was on the phone with the shop at the Boardwalk I could hear all the bustle in the background and for one second I felt like I was there!! I wish I was and then DD wouldn't be sad because I would be able to search for the earrings lol! Oh well!

Can you get to a Kmart before they close today? They have a variety of Disney jewelry at their jewelry counter...gold and silver. I saw Minnie, princesses, Mickey, etc. just on Tuesday. Call around to see which Kmart might have them and maybe you can replace them today. Good luck.

I also lost one of the disney earrings I bought there and did what you are trying to do. Called Disney Merchandising and got another pair.

I also went to Joann Fabric and Craft store and found some plastic backs that I could put on the back of them so I wouldn't lose one of these. So far it's worked great.

I hope they have more of the earrings for your DD.

Sears has some Disney jewlery also. I know I saw Mickey and Tink earing. Not sure about Minnie but maybe those will hold her until you can get them.

I hope that you area ble to find some more. The way things like tha work in my house is that after I repalce what ever it is thats lost I'll find it. If that happens then at least you'll have a spare. Oh- don't forget to check the vacume the next time you run it.

Thanks everyone for your replies!! Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner but the holiday took over We had a small Christmas miracle...lol and she found it in her bed You would think we would have looked there before all that running around!! She was elated though and thats what mattered to us. I have since called merchandising to get another pair incase something like this happens again Ahhhhh the stuff we do for our kids. Thanks again for everyones help and the offer to pick some up on your trip....that was SO nice!! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday

We bought 5 year old Disney (Mickey design) birthstone earrings at WDW on our trip on October and she lost one at school. She did not realize it until she got home and 1 was missing. She was devastated. Fortunately, someone bought her some different earrings for Christmas, which made her happy, but I am still sad that she lost the 1st earrings I gave her.
