OK, I know what it is, and how they treat it, but what I want to know is how dangerous the treament "could" be, and how bad the post - op would be for a 5 year old. Will she be in a lot of pain? And, I guess, the need to shave all the hair off around the ear.
Any peripheral stuff you can tell me would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Edit: Cholesteatoma is when skin, inside your head, grows around your inner ear, and it can lead to loss of hearing, facial paralysis, brain damage, or in extreme cases, even death......
but that is if you don't get it treated in time. I think we are fine as it was probably caught very early.
