My Daughter Doesn't Like the Safari

My daughter does not enjoy the safari at AK. I love it. I get it can be boring just seeing the animals lay there and the ride can be bumpy.

Am I the only one that has this problem lol. I get overruled on this ride everytime between her and my husband lol

My son didn't love it bc we didn't see many animals but he doesn't get to pick everything so away we go.

I love the Safari! It’s my favourite ride at AK. I don’t even like animals.
I find it relaxing.

If she’s bored, tell her to close her eyes and sleep.

I don’t care if my bunch is bored. I suffer through Space MTN, they can survive the Safari. Luckily, most of them love it.

In my family we each have favorite rides that other members are less enthusiastic about. For the most part, we all stick together and try to make a fun family experience of it. For a few truly "scary" rides (i.e. TOT) we make exceptions.

I can't get a sense of how old your daughter is? Perhaps she could help younger siblings spot the animals? Or read more about them in a pamphlet/book? I'd try some way to get her more involved--but ultimately it's about her supporting everyone else.

My DD used to hate Pirates. I think she was scared. I loved Pirates so after missing it a couple of times I told her that I was fine with her waiting for my DH and I while we rode it. She was 9 or 10 maybe. She took me up on the offer a couple of times and then started to join us on the ride.

If your DD is old enough, simply park her outside the entrance with a cell phone and a snack and meet up with her after the ride.

Wait, so they both don't like it? Ok fine - send them off on the Maharajah Jungle Trek and enjoy it solo!

The girls hate the American Experience in Epcot and the Hall Of Presidents. But guess what I pay for these trips and they know that this retired Marine is doing both and so are they.
