My DAP trip may be canceled

I'm leaving my DP behind. However, I am far from traveling alone/solo. There are going to be a few hundred good friends there, even if I haven't met them all yet.

If my spouse had a work conflict and couldn't go, I would totally go by myself. I'd feel bad that she was missing the fun, but I wouldn't let her work conflict wreck both of our vacations.
Just wanted to throw my support behind your going to DAP w/o your husband. I think you'll have a great time!

I haven't read the replies and any updates that might have been posted, but wanted to say go without him! I am going solo!

I agree with Nikki why not go on your own.

Well, it LITERALLY took an act of congress (or in our case the Michigan State Senate) but my husband's bill passed (he is a lobbyist) and we were able to leave on time. I didn't find out until VERY last minute, but we left as scheduled on Thursday AM. It seemed like we had good timing, they got 4 inches of snow, and it was blowing everywhere, creating blizzard-like conditions.

We are here now and having a great time. Thanks for the support everyone!
