My daily tickets - scanning?

My family has 4 day tickets (the buy 2, get 2 deal) for our upcoming trip. When I ordered the tickets, I received them as a PDF in my email. They also appear in my UO app Wallet, but there is no code or barcode to scan on the digital tickets like there is on the PDF tickets. I thought I would be able to scan my tickets from my phone to enter the parks. Shouldn't there be a barcode on the digital tickets as well? Will I need to print out the tickets and carry them around everyday?

Update: I called Guest Services. Apparently when I ordered the tickets, I selected Print at Home instead of Display on Mobile Device (or whatever it's called). I can scan the PDF tickets to get in attached to my email to get into the parks
