My wife and I will be at WDW the first week in December. We've visited 5 times over the course of 25 years with the most recent trip being in October 2014 when we took our entire clan (13 of us ages 3 thru 63). This will be a special celebration of 2016 as we both turned 65, both retired, and celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary.

Before I begin working on my detailed strategy for each park on this trip, I need to finalize our daily plans at a high level. Below is a look at my current daily plans. I welcome any and all suggestions / comments.

I might swap the Epcot Day Dec 3 and HS Day on Dec 5. That way, you could use the monorail to get to Epcot.

Yes, but then lose the boat to DS. Perhaps you could go to DS on your AK day as there is no current start date in sight for Rivers of Light so very little reason to stay late there.

Keep in mind that there are Christmas parties on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. That means that MK closes at 7 for all non party members and it may be more crowded on that monday and wednesday

I like the plan. Given its high level........there's room for updates......unfortunately updates I believe you'll need :(

First one will be your AK day..............be sure to have an alternate plan for the evening as RoL is not a good bet right now. I'm also thinking your HS day will need an update. HS is a shell of its former self. IMHO its a 1/2 day park at its best.......what you could do is take the boat to the Boardwalk in the afternoon/evening and visit Epcot. If you don't have hoppers...........you could do dinner on the Boardwalk, there are tons of great restaurants in that area. Others have commented on your MK days so you may need to make adjustments for early closings. I'm hoping your late Cali Grill dinner will give you a great view of the MK fireworks too!:-)

Your plan is good...........because you can adjust and make changes easily. No matter what happens I wish you a magical vacation and Happy Anniversary! pixiedust:
