My Dad

My dad was brought to New England Medical Center late last night. He has to have heart surgery tomorrow.
The dr. is painting a pretty bleek picture as he has diabetes, is extremely over weight and was a smoker up until recently. And it is a risky procedure to begin with.

My father had open heart surgery, quad bypass, about 2 years ago. It IS very scary, no doubt, but you'd be surprised what they can do nowdays.

Thanks everyone, it does mean an awful lot.
I'm heading to my mom's at 5 tomorrow morning and we will drive in to Boston. They still haven't given my mom a surgery time yet.
