My dad just passed away

Please, if you can say a prayer for my dad who I love so much, I would greatly appreciate it. In an hour I have to wake my kids and tell them. I don't know how to say it. I just don't have the strength.

I still remember having to tell mine, just speak from your heart,however you say it it won't matter. Kids are great they will instinctively give you what you need. Just hold each other. And don't apologize for seeking companionship that is one of the best things about the internet being able to be with people when you need to be and this board there are always people on.

I'm so sorry about your dad. It's hard to lose a loved one at any time, but especially during the holidays. My MIL passed away 12/18 two years ago, and we were numb for the rest of the holiday season. We still miss her, but as time passes it does get less heavy on your heart than it is when the pain is raw. Take things just one day at a time now.
