Nutsy, I'm glad things are going better for you. It's funny but my brother also had a harder time when my mom passed. But, after two years he's finally snapping out of it.
They never completely leave us.....at least that is what I choose to believe.
I sure hope my brother snaps out of before 2 years is up.........he won't even answer the phone. Plus it's his 50th Birthday on Monday and we invited him here for dinner, but he says he has too much cleaning up to do after Mum's passing. Just can't get through to him.
And I agree, they don't ever completely leave us....they are still here in spirit and that is so important. I still talk to my Dad and he has been gone 16 yrs. On Tuesday night I told him Mum was coming to be with him again and to look out for her........they will all (hers and my Dad's siblings) be together again.
This week was an important one in our household and I regret not phoning my Mum on Monday night with our news, but we had the possibility of more good news coming on Thursday so decided to wait and share it all at once, well she never found out any of it.....she passed early Tuesday morning and I never rang her Monday night to share the news. Yet, I feel that she knows and knew that we would be getting some really good news come Tuesday.......just seems right somehow.
Keeping you in my prayers.
