My Dad And His WDW Wine Glass

Told my Dad we were going back to WDW today. He rolled his eyes - - and in his best Archie Bunkeresque voice said "Oh geez...ya lost yer mind".

He paused, and looked at his personally engraved Mickey wine glass (which I bought last trip) and said "They should have drilled a hole in this glass so the Mickey would fill up with wine and turn red". (The Mickey figure serves as the stem of the glass and is solid).

I needed the wine more than him after this conversation.

My parents are past the point of making comments about our regular trips to WDW. My aunt and her family have at least once a year for the 20 years, so it is not a foriegn idea to my parents. I think they would be more surprised if we announced we were going somewhere else. We joined DVC a couple of years ago. So now the family members are lining up to join us on vacation. I think its great to be so passionate about a vacation location that you want to go as much as possible.

Oh, it's real nice. I got my Dad a Mickey with his name engraved, and a Minnie for my Mom. They're really cool. I bought them at that crystal store on Main Street in the MK. They didn't cost too much either. You'd like them.
