First I want to say a big, heartfelt thank you to all of the wonderful Disigners. You have helped add a level of excitement to the planning of our Magical Family Vacation (that begins in less than 24 hours! ) I have had so much fun creating these items for our trip and we cannot wait to wear them this week! I still have many designs that I will be using in our scrapbooks when we get home so know that your creations will be used and treasured by my children for many years to come.

Here are a few of my pre-trip creations:

How do you turn a .10 notebook into a treasured piece of family history? With the creativity of the Disigners! This is my journaling notebook that will travel with me throughout our vacation for all of my notes for my scrapbooks:

I have been working on them all over the last couple of weeks. The travel journal took about 15 minutes..the clipboards took some time only because I had to let the coats of decoupage (sp?) dry in between. Once i figured out how to align my paper correctly to print on both sides of the paper in the right direction , the passports didn't take much time either..maybe a couple hours total to print, put together then laminate the covers. The t-shirts took a few days..pre-washing, ironing with steam, ironing transfers on without steam... And I loved every second of it!

Sorry to hijack your thread here....does anyone know what I should set the iron on when I do my t-shirt transfers? I have to do them for our trip this week, and the instructions are NOT in my transfer pack! Please help!!!

No problem! I can only tell you what my instruction said...I set my iron on the highest heat with NO steam. My instructions specifically said not to use an ironing board as they are designed to disperse the heat but rather to use a hard surface (be sure to put something down underneath like a towel) and be careful! My dining room table paid a small price for my creativity. My transfer papers came with paper that you laid over the transferred image (like parchment paper) Each image only took about 1 - 1 1/2 minutes to transfer. Then I let the parchment paper cool before removing it. HTH!
