My Craigslist Deal

Three weeks ago I decided to checkout craigslist to see if I could find a Mac in good condition for a good price. I checked mississippi w/ no luck (I really didn't think that I would find one in this area anyway just wanted to check. Then I check in louisiana since I live 45 mins from NOLA and no luck. I knew I was going to houston this week and I found one listed but the listing was old so I sent an email and sure enough she still had it. The Mac is a 2006 Techno Classic that literally is in excellent condition and looks like it was used twice it was 155 dollars. I was so excited b/c I have been looking at the same stroller on ebay for the same price but the shipping was going to be like 30 dollars.

The best part was that I listed my graco chauffuer coachride on craigslist right before I left for 75 dollars and I have talked to a women already who will be buying it.

so to sum it up I spent 155 saved 30 on shipping when I finish the sale on my stroller 75 I will have only spent 80 dollars. Yay me.

Sorry this is so long I was just so excited.

Oh funny! I was reading your post and at first I thought you meant a "Mac" (an Apple Mac computer) for $155! I thought man that is a good deal then I read on and figured out you were talking about a MacLaren!

Congrats! I love Craigs List. We got a piano (in perfect condition) for free. It only needed minor tuning. I don't typically sell stuff, but people seem to do quite well, so dh and I are going through our "extra" stuff and we're going to throw them up there to see what happens.

By the way, I thought you had disappeared from the boards. We were posting on the same ones for a while. Nice to see you around.

We've been great. We had to resched our trip from August to November, but now we're considering December because I thought they would like the see the decorations. Is your family traveling down for free dining? I really wish we could go in October...I'm not sure I can wait for a vacation until November. I'm getting very antsy.

When we went in dec we really enjoyed it and it was like 95 degrees out so be prepared to wear shorts and short sleeve shirts. We aren't doing free dining now but the package we have is basically just like free dining. We will be at the beach club the first two weeks of food and wine festival. I am excited and we can't wait to see what its like so I can plan my trip for just me and dh to do F&W. I am really excited to b/c we are doing MNSSHP for the first time and we get to do twice.

Craigslist is awesome. Lately, I got free fish for my aquarium and a wooden picnic table for $6. (That thing was heavy and big!)

I do pay it forward by giving away stuff, too.
