My Concern

While I withheld my vote yesterday for the formaer Chairman, I am worried. Comcast came calling again. Now, with clear dissatisfaction with the Board, I don't think it would be far fetched to see the Board agree to give in to Comcast's bid in order to strike at the insurgency within the shareholders...

That scares me... Let's screw the shareholders and prevent Roy and his folks from getting what they want... Let's get our $$ and run.

If you read this board you've probably guessed that I admire Eisner - he's shrewd and sharp as nails.

That's why I totally agree that he could do just that.

Eisner is shrewd????
He may have been 2 decades ago, but what recent evidence??
Maybe it was the Ovitz hiring??? Maybe the go.com internet portal??? Or maybe the whole katzenberg firing deal??? Its must be the major advances that the disney stock has made in the last 5 yrs?? Or his company having the rights to the LOTR and then not being able to pull it off??

Ei$ner is shrewd when it comes to himself -- keeping his personal cash flow coming in strong, his position and control.
Shrewd for Disney? No.
Takin' care of himself is job one, and the only one he cares about.

Oh -- The shred part was paying too much for ABC where he was a joke and then taking it down into the dumps.
Or lowering Disney stock to almost junk stiock level and buying up a whole bunch of it. Yes -- shrewd for him. Not Disney.
