My college's new mascot

I really dont get it... Our college finally got a mascot outift.... My school has been known as the Utica College Poneers, but you know what kind of animal mascot costume my school got.... a MOOSE! I really dot see the connection......

but they are haveing a Name the Moose contest..... Any ideas for me to enter???

I can't think of a name but I am sure that is the moose that had the bad acid trip...
