My co-worker is a fountain of misinformation!! 5/14 the day has come page 130

Miss Info WAS planning a surprise baby shower for our boss this Friday. We all RSVP and agree to bring items for lunch. Yesterday she sends out an email telling us what time to be at the lunch site and gave a 20 minute lagtime for when she wanted everyone there and for when the boss would show up. Well, some people came to her and said they couldn't leave their departments that early and couldn't take a longer lunch. SSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO.....after the 3rd person came to her saying they couldn't do her time schedule, she stands up and yells "That's it, I'm not going to do this, you all can figure it out on your own." And storms away from her desk. :sad2: So now, some of us are scrambling to put this thing together. She won't tell us where she ordered the cake, she won't tell us who is coming or what they are bringing. We've decided to start from scratch and whatever happens happens.

For the love of Pete...

This grown woman is REFUSING to tell you where the cake is? Or the guest list? WHAT. THE. HELL???

I know I shouldn't be surprised...but GEEZ.

It gets worse every post...

Just remember, the boss is her FRIEND. What would she do for someone with whom she wasn't close?

Well, this is how I see it going down. She will go to boss once shower is done and tell her how it was all her idea and how she tried really, really hard to get us all together, but none of us would cooperate, so she gave up. (There will be no word of any tantrum)

Boss will hug her and tell her that it is all right, she knows we are a bunch of savages and that she did her best.

That really burns me up. What a low-class individual.

How many women do you work with that might conceivably be invited to this shower?

How many entrances and exits are there to the buildings you work at?

What a crazy lady. Sorry you have to deal with that - but it does keep us interested. And to make it worse the boss is her friend and doesn't see the real problem she is!!!

EG - who is in charge while boss is on maternity leave? Any chance the temp supervisor will get that woman up to par or banish her to the unemployment lines?

OMG - the boss isn't planning to leave Miss Info in charge, is she?!?! :scared1:

Who pays for the cake she already ordered? I see another tantrum on the horizon:eek:

:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :scared: She's entertaining, but she's hard to take. She needs to start mooing or hissing or something. Maybe you should recommend it!

The boss' boss will be taking care of things. I'm not counting on him to whip anything into shape. He's a quiet nerdy guy who doesn't care what's going on as long as the work gets done.

Well, she can either cancel the cake or pay for it herself. Since she won't talk to any of us about this, it's up to her.

Somebody needs to throw her a whiney baby shower:sad:. She needs to sit in the corner, she is acting like a 3 year old . Come on how crazy is that for a grown woman to throw a tantrum. Where I work, not everyone can take a lunch break like that, but we set everything up in one room and each person comes by for whatever period of time they can and enjoy the celebration party: then we go back to work, no tantrums needed.

Here I have taken care of the :cake: for you and some ice cream :mickeybar , and here is a band for some music :rockband: oh and you need a clown :clown: and here is Miss I :upsidedow . The party is ready to begin.

She came to me this morning with the most adorable teddy bear cookies I have ever seen. She tells me that she ordered 30 of them and was that going to be enough for everyone. Our guest list is at 24 with a couple of maybes so I tell her that should be plenty. She also told me she canceled the cake she ordered, but if we still needed it she could re-order. For once I felt sorry for her, I think she got overwhelmed and now realizes that she didn't handle it right.
