I just turned on network TV (okay, a half hour ago) and they were showing this huge area with some cars partially submerged... and then they named my city! And apparently, even though we're not on the ocean, we're about to be affected by high tide. My street isn't in that flood area, exactly, but it still floods (for the same reason) so I'm dreading going out - but I need to.
The Boston area has had between five and ten inches of rain over three days, with another three inches expected before it stops tonight. On a slightly brighter note, an inch of rain would be ten inches of snow - so, we could've been buried under up to almost ELEVEN FEET of snow by the time this all ends, instead.
