I got a call this afternoon that my car was ready. They were unable to get the 2000 wheels so I have 2004, and new BF Goodrich tires courtesy of the car dealer. (For those who missed my OP, my wheels were stolen while at the dealer ship.) I would like to say that it was settled smoothly but that wasn't exactly so, however, it was settled to my satisfaction at the dealer's expense. I like the 2000 wheels better than 2004 but I would never tell them. :D

I'm so glad that the dealer took care of this and how great that you like the new wheels better. :)

Have you had a good experience with the 300M?

A couple of years ago, I had reserved a Dodge Intrepid rental car to use for our vacation. When I got to the rental desk, the guy tapped on his computer, went and looked out back, came back in and asked if we'd object to a free upgrade. Turned out the upgrade was for a 300M. The whole family fell in love with the car. Our vacation was in the nw georgia mountains, and I had a blast driving this car on the curvy moutain roads.

I didn't know the wheels were worth stealing. I have had the car for four years and I have never had a problem or have even had a fleeting thought that it could happen. The dealer has given me locking nuts and I won't leave there overnight again.

I have a 100K service contract on the car and have had very minor problems. Twice the electric door locks were replaced. (they buzzed), the brake calipur stuck (covered) and most recently the AC compressor went at 99,100 miles. My cost was the $100 decuctable and the belt kit. Its a fun car to drive. I love the heated seats which I use all year round. I like the speed stick, the stereo and the sun roof. There is plenty of room in the back seat and every seat is comfortable.
