My Cat's Sick

I'm just now reading this thread and I am really wanting to know what the OP did for the cat, if anything.

It looks like she may already be on her vacation..........leaving all of us to worry and wonder about a sick kitty we don't even know! So I am sending some PD to him and hope that he gets better

I just cannot imagine anyone doing something like that!

I can't believe I'm still worrying about this cat that I don't even know. I feel sorry for it. I hope he is ok.

I really hope that the fact she was concerned enough to post from the start means she was concerned enough to take the cat in, or at least have someone else do it. But I also get the impression she just didn't want to hear it. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but I will say that anyone who would ignore a sick animal doesn't deserve to have one.

The fact that she was posting in other threads and never came back to this one worries me. I really don't think she or anyone else took that kitty to the vet.

Sorry, I haven't been online since about two weeks ago. She's fine now. Apparently she was allergic to the food coloring / dye in her dry food. We switched to a different kind, and when I got home (last night) she was eating.

My cat got sick like that once. We really thought he was going to die, even the vet prepared us for that happening. Thankfully, he came around after what seemed like months.

I hope your kitty does the same.

It's weird that everyone got all suspicious when I didn't reply, when clearly I was on vacation, and yet, now I've been back for a week, and no one's commented how great it is that my cat's fine. And she is better, she's been very active this past week.

I didn't see you had posted an update. I am glad she is eating, that is great news!!
Did you take your cat to the vet before you left, or did your parents while you were gone?

I think most people aren't replying because you posted several days before you left with details on how your cat was sick.

When you got back you just said the cat was feeling better with no details.

Did you take the cat to the vet? Who figured out it was the dye in the food?

It sounded like you didn't care and your vacation was more important than the cat.

It does say she went to the vet above, and I posted on Sun night, and left extremely early Tues morning, like 4:00 am, so not several days before.

Of course vacations not more important then her.

I only posted on here for moral support, not to make people think I don't care about my cat. If I hadn't cared, why would I have posted.

I think you did receive lots of moral support when you posted that your cat was sick. Many people were worried about it.

It is a relief to hear that the cat is better. Thank goodness. I hate to think of the cat suffering.
