My cat snores!

I was sitting in my chair in the living room the other night and hear this weird noise that I couldn't figure out what it was. It was coming from the kitchen. I put the TV on mute and listened, sure enough, it was Mickey snoring.

Then the night before last I woke up in the middle of the night to what sounded like someone raking their leaves - in the middle of the night ?!? - anyway I closed my eyes and layed there for another minute before I turned over...it was Mickey snoring!

It's too funny!

Anyone else have a cat that snores?

If it is something that just started your kitty may have a respiratory infection that you might want to have checked out. It is funny when our pets make weird noises when they sleep. Hopefully the they it is cute when we make weird noises when we sleep!

DH and the dog BOTH snore. Good thing I'm not easily disturbed!

My dog snore too. I have DH snoring on one side and the dog on the other snoring away. Its really interesting when DH starts talking in his sleep, or when the dog starts moving her paws like she is running in her dream

My cat however, is the only quiet one in the house

My cats snore. The smaller one snores louder than the bigger one. It's been going on for a while, so I don't think they have respiratory infections.

My Main Coon has always snored. Sometimes it's louder than DH - and that's saying something!

My kitties don't snore, but one 'talks' in his sleep! My cat Hershey sleeps on my pillow (which means I don't), and he constantly wakes me up meowing and twitching his paws, somtimes he growls and grabs my hair in his mouth.
I get a great night's sleep!

No, but I have a dog that will occasionally snore. And when he does, it's obnoxiously loud.

Yes, we have a Scotish Fold female who snores because of her squashed nose. She also snorts when she eats. Our 8 pound ball of fluff is louder at night that either of our Shelites! It's so funny! Husband and cat...snoring together on the bed. Makes me smile when I wake up.

Our cats snore, and so does the dog. Right now there is one cat sleeping on my bed right behind me, and the dog is sleeping next to my chair. I expect the "concert" to begin any minute.

My dog is a snorer. She normally has a little snore, but if she's in a deep sleep she can get really loud.

My Ragdoll snores....I don't think my calico sleeps, everytime I wake up, she's sitting next to me, just staring.
