Dang, I sure wish all the BLT hate actually resulted in easier bookings. I'd LOVE for a few more people to decide BLT isn't for them and move on to the next resort to make it easier for those of us who love the resort to book it!

I agree with your brother...but that is what I love about DVC - there is something that appeals to everyone!

We toured the BLT model rooms last trip and my Dad kept saying "We already stayed here - 25 years ago in the Garden wing!" The CM giving us the tour whispered to him "And I bet you had a lot more room in that room!"

BLT is not really my style, but I love that there are so many different choices in DVC.

My brother is happy that I am bringing him along with his two teen sons without making him pay for his room. He hasn't even asked me how big the rooms are and would be happy in a studio at any of the resorts. Since my DD and I are going with him and are more picky, we booked a lockout vs. a studio for the trip!

My DH and two DDs stayed in a 2 br at BLT and thought it was very large and comfortable.
