My younger DS7 (HFA) tripped at the playground yesterday and fractured his wrist! It's not a bad break, but it's there and he needs a cast, of course. Sadly it's his left wrist and he's a leftie! But I am proud of my guy, he was soooo brave at the ER. Whenever they'd announce a patient's name it went like this"

Nurse: "John Smith!
My guy: "John Smith, you're turn!" or "John Smith you're up!"

:-)

Sorry to hear about the accident, glad it is not serious. It always amazes me how “mater of fact” our kids can be about some things (considering their sensitivity to other things)

Your little man is so brave and we are happy he did so well in the hospital. Sorry about the fracture though.

Glad to hear things turned out ok for him. I work in an Emergency Department and it can be a scary place for those little guys :)

I sure am lucky and blessed!
My li'l man is an interesting duckie. (then again all of them are...interesting that is.)
He was so brave about everything. He's got the hospital routine down pat... go in, get weighed, get height, check blood pressure, temp... alter the order and he gets agitated...
After all he's been through and now about every hour he asks us to take his cast off...like it's a band-aid. I told him it had to stay on for a bit, even circled the date of his follow-up on the calendar... his response "My bone all betteh, take off please?"

Hope the time goes for him.
