My Bounceback reservation

I broke down and booked a bounceback on my 7th day! The chances of me keeping it are about 50/50 but what the heck!!

I have a ? if anyone can answer, please do:

What kind of modifications can be made without disqualifying my discount? I'd love to read anyone else's experience trying to do so, successfully or not!

I have been able to change dates and resorts with no problem based on availability and keep the discount. The only problem is you have to call to do it, you cannot make changes or adjustments yourself. If you cancel it altogether you can't get the discount back.

You can basically modify anything about it as long as they have availability and its within the discount dates.
So you can change dates, amount of days at the resort, amount of days on a ticket, ticket type, which resort, which room category in the resort, add a dining plan, drop a dining plan etc.
You can do these things without "penalty" as long as you're more than 30 days out if you booked a package (idk about room only requirements). After that time you may have to pay a $50 change fee if the changes make the overall price less.

What I don't like is that if you want to make changes you can't just do it online. You have to call. This is particularly annoying if what you're wanting to change is your date or resort because you have no clue what's available until you call and have them look and if its not available but you want to keep checking you have to keep calling.

What kind of modifications can be made without disqualifying my discount?

Pretty much the only thing you can’t do is change from package to room only or vice versa. They are different computer systems & not interchangeable. So the only way to change from 1 to the other is to make a new reservation. Which you can’t do for an BB rate unless you’re within the 7 day window.
