First of all, let me thank everyone for their birthday well wishes to me.
I took the opportunity to reflect on the day, and these are some of the observations I made.
1. Birthdays are a lot more fun when you are 8 than when you are 52.
2. There are fewer people who are older than me every year.
3. The big kids on the school bus are now the old guys down the street and are a lot less scarey now.
4. Every few years, the government gives everybody in America the day off on my birthday to celebrate. This was one of those years. You're welcome.
That's all I thought of. I spent the rest of the day riding my motorscooter.
