My BIG news!`

* * * * MY BIG NEWS* * * * *

I just had to share with people who understand the sheer excitement my family can't seem to grasp: I am going to work at my LSS starting in October. Currently, I work at the Disney Store, but I decided I would like to try something else after 5 1/2 years as seasonal and part time cast member at the DIsney Store! I'm so excited to be working at my LSS. I'm a little nervous. I thought I spent too much money at the Disney Store, but the scrapbook store could be worse! I guess I will have to see! I'm just so incredibly excited!!!!

Working at either would be dangerous for me!! I would leave my paycheck there-- in fact, I'd probably owe THEM money every two weeks!

Congratulations! I loved working at the LSS ('til I found out the owner was a psycho! LOL) and definitely spent most of my paycheck there. The one bad thing (if you want to call it that) was that I never seemed to work on my own books!

* * * *Oh My Gosh!* * * *

Not only will I be starting to work in October, they people at my LSS want me to teach a class on paper piecing. They have seen some of my paper piecing in my Disney book and are so impressed they have asked me to teach a class!!!!!! I can't believe it. Two months ago, I never thought I could paper piece after I had a bad attempt. Now, here I am, the next teacher of a paper piecing class! Holy Cow! I'll keep you guys posted!

Try not to be nervous, just enjoy the experience, you never know, you may have just find your niche with this and get lots more chances to demonstrate what you love to do.

Congrats on the new job!! It must be so exciting! I think the paper peicing class is a excellent idea as people can be real hesitant-know they will know how much fun it is! Do you know yet what paper peicing you will be starting out with? Good luck and keep us posted!

Way to go! Bet you'll do great. I've taught people lots of times, but not in a class. It wouldn't be hard to work with a larger group if you pick a simple pattern. Let us know how it goes.

Don't be nervous about teaching a class; just think of the "students" as you when you first started. When I first started, I was so grateful when someone took the time out to show me a new technique. You will do great!
