Anyway on our last trip to Disney we stayed onsite. Well, ,it was standing room only. Because My son was little (4) I had him sit on my lap so that a woman that was standing could sit. Well, now I am wishing that I didn't. He burped once. He said excuse me. Well, unfortunately he also picked his nose. I had a tissue so that wasn't really a problem. Other than it being embarassing. Well, after we got off the bus I heard her make the comment that she wishes they didn't let kids that little on the buses. Excuse me? Did I make her sit next to me? I told her that next time she is offered a seat by someone with a small child that she should politely decline. She muttered something under her breath. Needless to say I almost lost it. I decided that it was better to ignore her than to let it get to me!!

I hope if there are any grouchies reading this they will stay away from WDW. I can't believe you had so much restraint, I would have not been so nice. I know it is the right thing to do, but that is so out of line. I wish I could just yell, if you don't like kids DO NOT go to WDW. She acted as if your child bit her (maybe he should have). Why vacation somewhere that attracts families w/ children, if children bother you. We were at Walmart the other day, my little ones were riding in the cart and my son (8) was standing behind me while I was looking at something, a lady was trying to get through the aisle and I guess my son didn't move fast enough for her (she rolled her eyes) so I said sorry (in a polite way). Anyway, she made a comment under her breath so I said "I'm sorry, but I don't think you need to get so angry". She called me a B**** and stuck her tongue out at me!!!! So I said "kids, this is a perfect example of the way that you should not act, and this lady is a cuckcoo". I said it so that she would hear it and hopefully feel like an idiot. Can you believe that kind of language right in the store in front of the kids?

I've always been taught to kill them with kindness (and I add a little sarcasm). I probably would have looked at the gal on the bus and said "I can't believe they let kids in this place either, but what are we going to do" and given a little wink and sly smile.

Ever since my daughter was an infant, when she gets nervous she sticks her finger up her nose. She wouldn't pick her noxe just stick it up there. Goodness know's I've tried to break her of this habbit, but what am I to do, smack her hand away. I don't think so.

We would be in a store and someone would look at her and comment "What a beautiful little girl" and at that moment (when they were looking at her) she would stick the finger up her nose. would be the expression on my face and I would thank them and quickly walk away. We laugh about it now, but even at 3 1/2 years old sometimes she reverts back to shy finger sticking out of my nose girl.

Kids will be kids and all we can do is try to show them a good example.

My little monster (and yes, he can be a terror) insists on me and his dad saying, "Good burp, Avery" when he burps. I don't know how it started but he insists that you say it. Guess the bus lady would be in therapy over that one!

That has happened to us many times down there. I often think - if this person is that miserable in WDW, then they really must be really miserable in their real life.

WE are talking Disney here - there might be a few kids around the place ! AUGH!

Well I apologize in advanced - My 22 month old is a TERROR!
All the things I said that I would never do when my daughter was little (ex: giving food in the grocery store before I've paid for it) Well I DO THEM ALL NOW! I actually bought a harness for this trip because he climbs out of the seatbelt in his stoller - high-chair- grocery carriages. HMMMM

(note: he is a wonderful child most of the time he just doesn't like to be restrained - he thinks he is a big boy and this is why we are renting a mini-van just in case the public transportation doesn't work out)

Let us at her - well give her a reason to complain!

There are several people running around WDW and these boards that seem to think they own the place and that kids have no place in their world!

Amazing how all my friends who have never been to Disney expect there to be lots of kids. Why would ANYONE assume they don't have deal with kids EVERYWHERE at Disney?

Well, just put her comments down to her bad manners. I usually try to use an experience like that to talk to my kids about tolerance. She sure could use a lesson in it!!!!

We have ran into people like that in Disney World. My mom always gets mad and talks back though . I don't really mind though....I acctually sort of think it's funny, lol!
