Recently DH tore a hole in one of his Positives Tshirts he liked. It was one with a picture of a bike with the words Where there's a hill, there's a way. Well I figured since DH said he might need to get one of the band covers Disney sells to keep his wrist more comfortible in the band during the trip I thought I might try making one. It came out a little wide but the length was perfect. I was pretty easy to make. So I thought I'd share. I am sure if I used a different material it probably would have come out fitting better but the Tshirts material stretches. If your interested in making your own and have any questions let me know. But I think it is self explanatory if you have sewn at all.

Oh incase your wondering I went on a solo trip in August so I got to have a Magicband for that trip and used that to help size the fabric.

Was just think of another way to describe how to make it and though of an easier way to make a Magicband cover. Use a hair scrunchy just take out the elastic. Was looking at my scrunchies. they are Goody brand I believe and they are about the correct width but will have to cut down the length so it isn't to long for the band.:thumbsup2

I did not buy a cover, because you have to know EXACTLY where the Mickey head is, to use them quickly and easily. (I am here now and we are using the bands, naked, lol). I was also not impressed with the selections.

That said, I would assume it would be ok to let kids write on them with Sharpies? If you wanted them to. :rotfl:
