My airfare went down!!!

I booked our 10-28/11-5 trip on Song a few months ago to make sure I got the flight we wanted. The airfare from Las Vegas to MCO was $316.90 (which was more than we've paid in the past). I checked tonight and it is $206.90! Called Delta paid $25 to reissue each ticket, so I have vouchers for $81 for both DH and I!!!

Just a few questions? Do you have to pay an additional $25/ticket to get the voucher, or can you deduct it from the amount of the voucher? How long is the voucher good for, I usually fly about every 2 years, but my flight from Newark to MCO dropped like $100 per ticket on Continental, due to Jet Blue now flying out of Newark, and Continental trying to stay competitive, although they won't admit it.

Having done this.. Basically they recompute the ticket and then refund you any difference less the change fee ($25) in this case.

Song travel vouchers are good for one year from the date you call to get it.
My october flights dropped and I got the voucher today 8/3/05, it is good until 8/3/06.

I don't think I will be flying anywhere in the next year after this flight, but right now I have my 7 month old in our lap for the flight, should I get her a seat and bring the car seat with us??? The refund should cover most of her ticket if not all.

I would recommend it if you can afford it. In the event of turbulence or a hard landing your child is MUCH safer in the car seat. It's just like a car, the only reason they don't require it is money not safety!
