First, I'll be at the French Quarter November 30th-December 10th, so maybe I'll see you there!! I'll have my Lime Green Mickey Heads for the DIS in my room window. I even have an ADR @ 8:05am at the Crystal Palace on 12/10!!!

As far as your ADR's, I, personally, would change the following:

Chef Mickey's for dinner. Tried once for dinner and it was the worst meal I've ever had at WDW. Bad food & service. I would change this to either Liberty Tree Tavern (especially since the character dinner ends the end of this year) or Kona or Whispering Canyon Cafe.

If you can get an ADR @ Le Cellier, I think you'd really enjoy it. It's a must for me on every trip.

Looks great!

We just had dinner at 1900PF last month and loved it!!! It was yummy and the characters were hilarious!!!

Double check your EMH for Dec 4. They have Epcot listed for this morning not MK. :thumbsup2

I'd switch those two:

Boma is extremely convenient to get to from the Animal Kingdom.

Kona is at the Polynesian. Take the bus from PORFQ to MK then the boat launch over to the Poly for your first night dinner. The boat will stop at the Grand Floridian first then the Poly. I nice cruise before dinner.

My BAD, I meant Kona at the Polynesian.

We have eaten at La Cellier last two trips, and while we love it, we wanted to try a few new places.

Terk1- We actually love Chef Mickeys and it is the one place the kids asked to go back to....and we actually did not like LTT or Whispering Canyon. That is what is so nice about WDW, something for everyone.
We are goiing to Kona on Saturday.

My only observation, based on our experience is that it was super convenient to go from AK to AKL for dinner at Boma. I've booked Boma breakfast on our AK day for the next trip.

Going from AK to Poly isn't "hard" just less convenient.

bkfree, When I click on Theme Parks at the top of the page, then Park Hours/Fireworks at the side, then I click on December 2008, it lists different EMH? Wondering which is correct? :confused3 Are you going with the WDW website? I have been planning around what is posted for December on the Dis? Bummer if it is not correct?

Looks like you've got some good ADR's. Me personally, I'd never do Chef Mickey's for dinner again. I love that place for breakfast but did not enjoy it for dinner. Have you thought about maybe doing breakfast instead??

This is in reference to December 4th, the day with Magic Kingdom and Chef Mickeys. In my personal experience (and its a lot from living 2 hours away) is that if it is extra magic hours in the morning for the park, then it will be SUPER crowded for the rest of the day.

Think about it: emh for disney resort guests---disney resort guests flock to there to get in early. Thing is, then the non-disney resort guests come in at 9 am, causing the place to be almost twice as crowded.

We have experienced this as a true thing for every park so far, and especially the magic kingdom. Also, even if you are a resort-guest, it still doesn't protect you from the horrific EMH morning crowds! :scared1: However, EMH evenings are the exception, most of the times its normal park attendance or even lighter crowds in the duration of the evenings.

Why is this true? Well, because EMH mornings (and evenings, for that matter) are no longer "secret" for most WDW travelers!

I have always gone with the park and EMH hours posted at the official Disney site and so far they have always been correct.
Maybe a Disboards moderator can clear up the schedule conflict:confused3

We are going to Boma the evening of the day we arrive. Our plane lands at 3pm, so other than checking into our hotel at POFQ, we are not visiting any parks that day, just dinner at Boma.

We also are not doing morning EMH at MK,I think I just typed in what was on my paper. We have found that the only morning magic hours we like are at Epcot, but we do love the evening magic hours at MK.
We do have an 8am breakfast ressie at CP on the day we leave because we have a late flight out,so we will get some morning hours MK that day.

We have done breakfast and dinner at Chef Mickey's and enjoyed both. This trip dinner just fits in better, and my kids are not big breakfast eaters, so dinner is better bang for our DDP buck.My son really doesn't eat much breakfast to speak of, but will really chow down at dinner time.
I have tried to make ADR's at each resort , so we can see the Christmas decorations at each one.
Since we will be at WDW for 8 days this trip, the longest ever, with Park Hopper tickets, our park days are not so etched in stone. If one becomes too crowded we will just opt out for another one.
That is a great perk I am realizing with the longer trip. Our last trips were only 5 days, so a park schedule was much more necessary.
I am glad this trip we can go more with the flow.
