My AAA rate has dropped!

I had a Portofino Suite booked for 7/6 for 6 nights at the AAA rate of $289/nt. I called to see if the AP rate was out yet for my dates and found out that the AP rate is not out, but that the AAA rate has gone down to $231!

The AAA rate went down? That sounds really strange to me. That's a busy time. Are you certain the quote was for the same type of room? Being a skeptical type, I would be tempted to double check that. Of course, I'm just jealous because we are only staying for 2 nights this summer and they won't give me an AAA rate for only 2 nights (at least not yet).

We have AAA rate of $231.00 at HRH for June 12-17. APH rate is $231.10 - go figure. Hoping for something better, it isn't like the past years.

I have 2 nights AAA in May-maybe your rates haven't been released?

They have definitely been released - they will offer AAA rate on a king suite for my dates, but nothing else. If I put in for 4 nights instead of 2, all the rooms are available at the AAA discount, but they won't give me one for mine (it's a holiday weekend and I need Friday and Saturday nights). I keep checking every few days to see if anything has changed.
