My $40 Disney GC from the DVC tour finally arrived!

I received it today, almost exactly 3 months after I took the phone tour. But I think the reason I got it was that I wrote a letter to the DVC corporate offices about the issue. But at least I got it, so there is hope for anyone still waiting!

I called about my giftcard yesterday, since it has been almost 2 months since I called and did the DVC tour. The woman I spoke with said that there has been such an overwhelming response (maybe due to the word getting out on here ) that they keep running out of gift cards. So, for all of you waiting on your gift cards, it should only be a matter of time.

I just called (again!). The lady said the people who they contracted out to do the gift card thing finally got the gift cards and they are in the process of addressing them out....

They won't have any more information for a couple of days. So who knows

I called three different times, got the same song and dance about being overwhelmed each time. But people who did the tour long after my 28 Nov 11 date have gotten them. I think there is a twilight zone of dates during the end of Nov/beginning of Dec that got forgotten about. I finally wrote a letter and two weeks later my card arrived. This is the office I sent the letter to:
