After months of discussion about our next Disney trip we have taken the plunge and booked it:cool1:
At first we were going to book accom direct with Disney and take a risk on flights and book the cheapest we could find, but in the end we decided to book the whole thing direct with Virgin, partly because my DH has just changed jobs and we didnt want to fork out thousands on a flight only to find the job didnt work out. This way we've payed a £700 deposit, and have until middle of February to pull out if things arnt looking good.
Also my father was taken seriously ill three weeks ago and is still poorly in hospital, so we all needed a pick me up, something to look forward to.
Our quote wont be the cheapest, but i dont think its too bad, what do you think?
22nd May Lowes Royal Pacific C/L 4 nights
Y/C Standard room 13 nights
14 day ultimate Disney tickets
Orlando flexi tickets (not inc Bucsh Gardens)
Vroom
Free DDP
Flights ecom both ways

£8500 Me DH DD13 DS10

According to Virgin girl this was the last standard room left for BC and YC for that time already!

PS I cant do a ticker as its going to be a surprise for the children, and they might see;)

Like you say, if you had done things separately you might have been able to save a bit ont hat cost but it sounds as though you have taken the sensible approach, when it comes to your situation.

Sounds like a great holiday you have planned :thumbsup2

you should look at travel city direct as we have gone with them 10 times and always cheapest plus its a virgin flight. weve got basically same package as you but were 5 adults and paying £7679

Its a great feeling knowing that is all booked and you and the family have something to look forward to.

Phew, was worried there for a moment:scared1:Just called TCD and they did a like for like quote and it came out at £8900.95 plus the room is only on request at Y/BC.
Always worth checking these things out though x

Good for you. As long as your happy thats the main thing and considering you accomodation its not too bader price especially with VH.:thumbsup2

I believe that if you are happy with the price then thats all that matters. I never price anything up after i have booked it, although i know a lot of DISers do!! I sort of set a price that we can afford and then go way above it!!!:rotfl2:

Congratulations on booking - something to look forward to xx
