Last night, my DH got her ready for bed and she was singing a song. My DH told her to go sing her song for Mommy and all I could get out of it was that it was about a "piece of sheep". we really need to be careful who she's hanging around with!! I really have no idea where she got that!! She also has a little problem pronouncing words and her older cousins think it is hysterical to get her to talk about trucks on the beach...This is a conversation that should be avoided at all costs with her. :cool1: :cool1: In fact we avoid all conversations regarding the beach and trucks for the time being :rolleyes1 Amy :sunny:

Reminds me of the time the teacher told us that DS (almost 3 at the time) was walking around saying something after using the potty. We were mortified, until we figured out he was actually saying, "sit, sit, sit!"

:)

This was just something funny my three year old daughter said today. She woke up this morning later than she usually does. I said to her that she slept a long time last night. She has to sisters that are 19 and 20. She tells me that she sleeps long now because that's what her sister Angie does and that is what sisters do. They sleep long. I just thought is was so funny. They are so innocent and sweet at this age.

When my caroline was in nursery school she was very protective of the kitchen corner in the class romm she like to be the mommy with the baby dolls and feed them well one day Jonathon in her class decides to play the daddy and takes the doll and swings it up in the air and it lands on the floor.
She was so angry she called him a the word bass and the word hole put together. We still dont know which bad word she was trying to say,
The teacher knew what she said but thank god she didnt :lmao:

When our oldest daughter was around three, we had the same problem with the truck word. Unfortunately, we had a small pickup truck and a minivan at that time. Our daughter was forever telling people that, "We have a truck and van, but she would run the words all together and it came out sounding exactly like she was saying, "We have a truck'n van!" Only the truck part didn't sound like truck!

Sounds exactly like our problem!! I just LOVE having to explain that what she just said had nothing to do with a female dog or it doing anything inappropriate at all and that it had everything to do with taking the truck to the beach. This is the stuff you vidoe tape and threaten them with when they turn teenagers.:lmao:
