My 3 1/2 year old's heart tumor

I just found your thread. I hope your son came smoothly through surgery. You are in my prayers for your son to have a quick recovery

We are now out of the hospital. We spent 5 days in the hospital after his 4 hour surgery. The doctors were not able to remove the tumor since they found it inside of the heart when it was original thought to be located on the outside. Now we just have to wait and watch to make sure it doesn't grow and bother the blood flow more and if it does then he will need a heart transplant. His doctor thinks it will just stay the same since he has another patient with the similar tumor that he is still watching after 10 years.
Thank you for all the prayers and support! Now its time to try and move on but is so hard knowing that I will have to worry every day that this tumor will get worst but I need to try to stay positive and make the most out of life. Thanks again everyone.
