Hi...

I hope I'm doing this right. I need a little info on the Eastern Cruise. We are going on this 7 night cruise on October 15, 2005. We don't know which excursions to book because I have Crohns Disease and need a bathroom really quick at times. Does anyone know which excursions have bathrooms? Sorry to say, but these bathrooms need to be reached within no more than 3 minutes. Any info would be really appreciated. We are booking the excursions this Friday.

Thanks tons

For info about your cruise it is best to post on the cruise board than the welcome board. You should get your answers there.

I will move this post for you :)

You might be best not booking an excursion but doing your own touring plan of the islands. No matter which excursion you book, you will have transportation to and from and that transportation, be it bus, ferry, etc is not likely to have a restroom.

Hey, we're traveling on October 15th also. we are planning to do the golf in St. Thomas, and the catamaran tour in St Martin, but I have no idea about bathrooms. I didn't realize you could book the excursions this early. Does your cruise have to be fully paid before you can book excursions?

DiMitch & Nancy - come on over to the cruise meet thread we've got for the 10/15/05 Eastern cruise and join the rest of us!!

I also suffer from Crohns, but am fortunate to have it pretty well under control with medication. I did not have any problems on the 7-night western that we took this past October - we did a catamaran sail / snorkel excursion and there was a restroom on the catamaran as well as a restroom on the beach they took us to. You probably know better than anyone just how active your Crohns is and I would suggest that you plan your excursions and your diet accordingly. Are you concerned about a flare up or are you dealing with truly active Crohns? I think the difference between those two could be a deciding factor for choosing an excursion.

I'd be happy to talk to you some more about this if you'd like - I know it isn't easy or comfortable discussing this condition with people who aren't familiar with it. Send me a PM if you'd like to discuss further.

As for booking excursions - I believe that Disney allows passengers to book 90 days from sail date. Check their website to be sure - or just wait for someone around here to post the answer. :teeth:
