My 2008 Disneyland Scrapbook (Updated 7-1)

I love looking at everyone's pages! I need to get some of those chip and dale cut outs. I have the hardest time with their pages!

I laughed when I saw this page- my birthday is on one of the tags and my name is Melissa....FANTASTIC WORK! I take it you like your Cricut??

Latest layouts:

Dream Vacation - The tags and Mickey on the second page are from Mickey and Friends. The paper is by Reminisce, part of the Signature series. The photo on the first page is one of our photopass ones that I got from Shutterfly for free when they had their free 8x10 promotion. It cut off Tink's butt though! LOL The title is printed on the paper. One side has it with the title, the other doesn't. On the tags I put what we did each day, which park, and some of the highlights

What a neat idea! I may have to scraplift that!

Does anyone know where I can get some of those chip and dale die cuts? I sure could use a few for my pages. Thanks for any help!

The Chip and Dale diecuts were done with the Cricut machine. They're on the Mickey and Friends cartridge.

Thanks! Anyone know where someone who isn't lucky enough to have a cricut get some?

On the swap board chaeck and see who has the cartridge and is willing to cut some out in trade for something else you do have around.

On Saturday I went to the one LSS and bought a bunch of paper, especially for my layouts for breakfast at the Plaza Inn. One of the first layouts I worked on was for Eeyore!!! I have been dying to made a gray Eeyore with the Pooh cartridge.

We had breakfast at the Plaza Inn the first day at Disneyland. Eeyore was the second character to come to our table!!! Needless to say we were very excited! Eeyore is probably my second favorite character next to Mulan.

For this layout everything is from the Pooh and Friends cartridge. The paper is by Basic Gray from the Sugared line. I don't have it in front right now, but I can look up the exact paper later. They are pretty basic, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how the Eeyores turned out.

I have the intro page for the Plaza Inn almost done, I just don't have the journaling attached. I'm going to try to finish that up tomorrow. I also worked on making several other characters on the Cricut for other characters we met at the Plaza Inn. All together we met 9 characters during breakfast!!! So look for those in the near future. :)

Great pages! Keep them coming. I still need to finish my book from summer 2006 and we're headed back next month! I better get busy. I love your page with Mickey and the tags of what you did each day. I'll have to borrow that idea for my book from this summers trip.

Eeyore came out fantastic!! So cute (and the right color!!)

I LOVE Basic Grey paper! Now I'm going to have to look into this collection, too.

I love your eeyor page. I have my picture taken with eeyore every time I go. My first picture I was like 5. I can literally see myself grow in all the different pictures and still to this day, everytime I go I have a picture taken.

Wow, I didn't even know this section was here. I love your pages! Please continue to keep sharing. What an inspiration to get those Disney pages done!!! CUTE stuff! :thumbsup2

Your pages look great - the Monsters inc pages were adorable! and your Eeyore page inspired me to use some of my basic grey paper for my Morocco pages - for some reason I didn't think of basic grey for Disney.

I adore your t-shirt design, too cute! All of the pages were well done and I like them all. I also will be borrowing some of the ideas (ie: Mickey and the tags for the day)

Thank you all for the kind comments. :) I **FINALLY** got photos of the layout I did last weekend with SCAL.

Grim Grinning Ghosts

I used Ravenscroft and Gracey's Curse fonts. It was difficult to photograph because the paper behind the photos is sparkley and the black is Bazzill Bling. I had some difficulty cutting the shadows. The first time I cut it the pressure was set wrong so it didn't go all the way through. When I tried to cut it again the paper wasn't sticking to the mat right. I only had so much paper, so I just use the first ones I cut that didn't cut all the way through. Though I had lost the one for "Grim" so I did get that one recut, which is why it looks slightly different. Oh well. I used Paper Dolls for the ghosts and inked the edges. I stitched the stripe paper to the plain black paper, though don't look too closely at the stitching. I'm not very good as sewing. ;)

I am in awe of your layouts Melissa - what a great job you are doing!!:thumbsup2
