Our bands arrived yesterday(we are staying at the Contemp the last week of Aug). Both of my kids were so excited to see them. I put the box on the kitchen counter where I thought it was out of reach.

Well, while I was showering, my 2 year old, being his usual sneaky little self, :tiptoe: managed to pull the box off the counter(he dragged a small step stool over). I got out of the shower and he was chewing on the end of a band!!!! :eek:

I am happy to report that the bands are made of a pretty strong rubber material because he was unable to rip/tear it and there were no teeth marks left on the band. However, I don't think this is going to be the type of test/feedback that Disney had in mind!!!! :rotfl2:

Kid cried when I took away his "Gickey dan"(my older son has been calling the bands Mickey bands because there is a Mickey on the band so the little one has been copying him) Then I had to tear apart the house trying to find the other 3 bands since he had pulled them out too and threw them in the living room and playroom.

All bands have been found and returned to the box and are well out of children's reach. Gotta love kids.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: Well at least he likes the band. I have a feeling he may be gnawing on his arm the entire trip though!!! ;) When my DD was that age, she absolutely flipped out if any kind of bracelet was put on her arm, so the magic bands would not have received that type of warm reception. We went to MVMCP when she was 3 and the CM eventually gave up trying to put the bracelet on her arm and told us to just carry it and show it to people if they asked, because she was absolutely sobbing and melting down about it having to be on her arm. Which makes me wonder...how easy are the magic bands to get off their arm? Are we going to be seeing lots of cases of little ones pulling them off and dropping them or flinging them about the parks?

:lmao::lmao::lmao:
Best laugh I've had all week. And I didn't even have to open the thread. :hyper:
Thanks for that.

yet another MyMagic+ feature of magicbands....and to think that people think this whole FP+ thing isn't gonna work out
