Funny thing is, I remember the first post I think you made...inquiring into the DVC. Even as a simple inquiry, it was full of good humor and well written. And you've never strayed from that great formula.

Infrequent poster here, but an avid reader of the posts.

If one uses this board as a measure of the quality of "neighbors" at a DVC resort at any given time, then I have to say this board was one of the main reasons that we joined DVC over a year ago. Your postings, along with Doc's, Granny's, Dean's, (the list just goes on) are (one of) the reasons that we joined DVC. Keep the well-reasoned and level-headed thoughts coming!

Well, congratulations! Hope you stick around long enough to celebrate 5,000 and 10,000 and beyond.

Since it's an "anniversary" of sorts for you, I just have to comment on your avatar -

I kind of always knew it was Willy Wonka and that he is all about chocolate and that's OK of course - who doesn't like chocolate??

But until recently, I thought of that avatar (and you) as Dr. Moriarity - the hologram from Star Trek who is living happily ever after in the bottle on Captain Picard's Enterprise. Now I think he was supposed to be a villian of sorts, but I secretly thought he was so wonderful - especially to his lady love.

So if you don't mind - I'm not reading any more posts about WILLY WONKA!!!!
