Thank you, everyone, for your kind comments about my photos. I almost didn't share them because, well, idk, I guess I thought they were "someone's Disneyland visit," but as I started to piece it together, I hoped some of the magic of my short visit would come across the screen. Glad it did!

...Your pictures are wonderful. I've only been to DL during busy times because we need to go when school is not in session. How amazing it must be to see it almost empty.

Thanks for the compliment. It was NOT empty at all during the time I was there. Only at the VERY end because of the timing of when I hit Main Street - about 30 minutes after park closing.

I absolutely LOVE the picture of Walt and Mickey in front of the castle. It is just breathtaking. You should blow it up and sell it!

Thank you so much. I waited and waited and waited FOREVER for that shot. Should I locate the 30 some-odd people that walked right into all the deleted versions of that shot and send them their pic?! And I never realized how many people sit on that little seat wall around the statue, until I needed them to move for my photo! HAHA!

How fun! And great night time pics too! How nice to not only get the oportunity to take pictures with the park empty but that you have the ability/equipment to take good photos! I think mine would come out all blurry.

Empty park - just have to stay until the end. (Would it surprise you that I watch all the credits at the movies?)

As for the ability to take the pictures... I always struggle with that and it adds to my excitement about these photos. No tripod was used at all with these pictures. I DID have a neck strap on my camera and pulled it tight to create a tension, then propped my elbows on my body to attempt to steady the camera when I clicked the shutter. haha NostalgicDad, I know, awful! But I just can't bring myself to hauling a tripod around the park (even if only for 2 hours).

As for blurry pictures, I have some of those from that night too! Wanna see them to feel better? hehe I didn't think so.

The picture of the partners' statue made me gasp. What an awesome image!

Oh Dreams.....wow!!! Those pics are AMAZING!!!! They had the same effect on me and they were "just" pictures....I'm so happy and relaxed now!! Thank YOU, would you mind at all if I saved a couple of those shots for myself? I know they are yours and if you don't want to share please just tell me, I won't be offended but a few of those would make the BEST desktops!!

Since many of you commented about being able to be there with it so empty...
If you are in line for any attraction at Disneyland before the Park officially closes, you WILL be allowed on. I was in line for Small World at 8:45pm (the park closed at 9pm). I was on Small World just after 9pm. Exited Small World, what? 15 minutes later? Took the pictures near the Small World area as I walked towards Main Street / Castle. I hit the Castle around 9:40pm. Remember, shops on Main Street are open until 1 hour after the park closed and those of us exiting Small World just kept walking TOWARDS the exit... not so much as one step backwards. My shot of Main Street TOWARDS the Gate was taken at 9:52pm. My shot shooting all of Main Street virtually empty with the castle in the background was taken at 10:10pm. I have a final shot that I took of the Train Station that was taken at 10:27pm (1.5 hours after official park closing. And I was NOT the last one out.)
