My 2 1/2 yr old DD is being night trained and is doing very well. She has not been in diapers in a couple of months but we still have the occassional mistake. How does the room stewards handle this kind of mistake??? Anybody else been through this??

Been there, done that..... My DD had an accident while we were on DCL, and it really wasn't a problem. Luckily for us, it happened during the day, she was napping. We just stripped the bed for our room attendent, and grabbed him before we left for dinner. We told him what had happened, and he said it wasn't a problem, and he'd fix it. When we returned from dinner, all of her bedding had been replaced!! It really was easy, and I'm sure they are used to this!

Can you take a water proof pad and ask the room host to slip it under the sheets? It won't prevent the sheets from getting wet, but it'll protect the mattress....

I plan to have by DD 2 1/2 wear pull ups at night. She's still not consistent in staying dry at night so I figure packing 7 pull ups is a small price to pay for my peace of mind!

Yeah but isn't putting her in pull ups a step back for her self-esteem. It would seem to me that I would be thrilled with someone else having to change the sheets for me and that its a common issue on DCL. I wouldn't worry that much about it. Do what you normally do.

I had to respond to your question. Please, if you know your child may still have an accident use pull-ups (I have 5 kids, if you think a pull-up lowers self worth, you have many other problems) or use a water proof pad. I, as a guest would like to think my bedding has had as few icky things on it as possible. People are always posting on the cm's and disney's lack of good behavior, but we as guests need to use good manners also.

HI

you can buy hospital pads for the beds at a drug store- this is what i use to use at home and on vacations- i too try not to think about what has happened to the mattresses i am sleeping on while on vacation but who really knows???
