Here’s Part 2 of my dining reviews! This was our first trip to WDW so it was a wonderful and new experience. It was me (19), mom (51), and dad (52). :wizard:

Le Cellier:
We had a 5:00pm PS for Le Cellier and from all the wonderful reviews on the DIS I was really looking forward to eating here! This was one of my absolute favorites and my mom is still raving about it. We checked in at the podium quite early, about 20 minutes early and they seated us right away. Our server’s name was Tara and she told us how she was from British Columbia and talked about where she was from. She was one of the nicest CMs I have ever met. She brought out four loaves of bread. Tara gave us two loaves of pretzel bread because she said it was her favorite and she also said how if there were any particular kinds that we liked, she would bring out more. She also brought out seven grain bread and sourdough bread. My dad and I loved the pretzel bread. It was warm and delicious. My mom was a big fan of the seven grain bread and the sourdough. We ended up asking for more of the seven grain and pretzel bread. My mom and I decided to split the herb crusted prime rib which came with a veal demi glace, grape tomatoes, watercress, and roasted Yukon potatoes. This was the best steak I have ever tasted in my entire life. It was warm, tender, and the flavor of the veal demi glace on the prime rib was amazing! The potatoes tasted so good and the tomatoes and watercress were also very delicious! My mom is still talking about how good her prime rib was! My dad ordered the free range chicken which came with cream cheese mashed potatoes and the man who brought out my dad’s chicken poured a roasted onion broth around the chicken and mashed potatoes. He said that the chicken was the best chicken he had ever tasted and he kept raving about the mashed potatoes. Both my mom and I tasted his chicken and mashed potatoes and they were both incredible. We didn’t have room for dessert but the desserts they were bringing out to other people looked incredible! This meal was just incredible and my mom wants to go back to WDW just so she can eat at Le Cellier!

Crystal Palace:
We ate here twice for breakfast and the first time was much better than the second. For our first breakfast here, we had a 8:05am PS. We were seated right away and our server was incredibly nice and explained in detail how the buffet worked. My dad and I asked for coffee and my mom got diet coke (yes, in the morning!). Right away I went over to the buffet which looked so delicious. There was Pooh and Piglet waffles, fruit, whip cream for the strawberries, hard boiled eggs, pancakes, a station where the cooks made omelets and pancakes (any kind you want!), cheesy hash browns, potatoes, scrambled eggs, other kinds of eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, walnut crumb cake, raspberry crumb cake, toast, bagels, breakfast lasagna, cereals and other items. So much to choose from! I got a Pooh waffle which was SO yummy, it was definitely my favorite! I also got pancakes which were warm and delicious. I also decided to get so fruit which was nice and ripe! Yum, strawberries with whip cream! The scrambled eggs had a lot of flavor and were very warm. The cheesy hash browns were so good, I went back twice for more of those! I loved the walnut crumb cake and the raspberry crumb cake was ok, I’m not really a fan of raspberries. I got some of the breakfast lasagna which I didn’t like. It tasted strange to me but it did look good at least. My mom got a lot of pancakes which she loved! I don’t really what else she got but she loved everything. My dad got a lot of sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy. He loved it all and he also got some waffles and pancakes which he thought were very good! The characters were very friendly and a lot of fun! Pooh of course was my favorite and I got pictures with all of them. I talked with Piglet who was by the buffet and made sure he had something to eat already. This breakfast was a lot of fun and the food was delicious and warm.

Crystal Palace: Another breakfast
The second time wasn’t as great because we had a later PS at 9:30am and the food wasn’t very warm. They weren’t refilling many items and the waffles were hard as a rock. There weren’t any pancakes either when I was going through the line. I had to come back later but it didn’t taste as good as my first breakfast there. It had gotten very crowded and our server wasn’t very friendly or attentive. I would recommend the CP but at an early time when the food is very warm and it isn’t so crowded. I did love the characters though, they really make the breakfast a wonderful experience. One of my favorite parts of the second time at breakfast was when Pooh had a sign that said “It’s my special day” and all of the kids marched right behind Pooh. It was the cutest thing!

Grand Floridian Café:
We had a PS for dinner at 6:00pm but checked in early and got seated right away. My mom and I had planned something special for my dad. My dad had watched the show about the weddings on the food network and he thought that the Cinderella Slipper Dessert looked really good (he LOVES white chocolate). So my mom and I ordered three of them, one for each of us. Our server was SO hilarious and incredibly nice! I wish I could remember her name, she was such a wonderful server. My mom and I ordered a salad to start with which was a green salad with a blood orange vinaigrette, it was really delicious. Our server also brought out some rolls with butter and a loaf of raisin bread which I loved! My mom and I split the New York Strip Steak which was topped with a cabernet sauce and came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. They split it in the kitchen for us. The steak was really delicious and mashed potatoes were creamy and so good! I loved it so much. My dad ordered the Café Signature Sandwich which was like a club sandwich. It looked really good and my dad loved it and ate most of it. Instead of being cold, it came warm which my dad really like. Then our server brought out our desserts, the Cinderella Slipper Desserts! They were really yummy. the white chocolate was very good and the cream inside the slipper was so delicious. The chocolate tear drop was very rich and we all had to same some for later. Obviously, I was a little over excited because I ate the raspberry sauce and then the chocolate which I shouldn’t have done because I get sick from mixing both together. So I got sick later that night, but that was my own fault. The dinner was so delicious and our server was great
The second time was awful! Our server was not friendly at all and service was incredibly slow. My mom and I ordered the prime rib and asked to split it. When the food came out my mom and I looked at each other because it obviously was two orders instead of one. So we tried to find out server, she was nowhere to be found. We waited for someone to come by and we finally told someone else. Then when she came out, she just stood there and didn’t say a word to us! Our server didn’t even say, is everything ok? She just looked at us and said nothing. When we told her what was wrong, she told us it was one order. It obviously wasn’t but oh well. By then our food was cold and it didn’t taste very good at all. My dad ordered the same thing and he didn’t like it as much this time. We decided to order dessert to make up for the meal which wasn’t so great. We ordered the key lime pie which was very small so you could order more than one. It came with a chocolate crust and I liked it. We also got the chocolate hazelnut cake which was SO rich I couldn’t eat more than one bite. I didn’t like it very much but my mom loved it. The second meal at the GF café wasn’t good at all but the first one was so delicious and a wonderful experience. I think I would go back but on a weekend when it was busier (when our first meal was) because the servers seemed more attentive and a lot more friendly.

I’ll write more reviews later. I’ve still got reviews on Restaurant Akershus, 50’s Prime Time, Chef Mickey’s, and Cinderella’s Royal Table! I hope you enjoyed my LONG reviews!

Great, can't wait to see the rest. Please post before 12/23-thats when we leave for WDW!!

Great reviews!

And someone ordered something other than beef at Le Cellier! Glad to hear that your dad loved his chicken.
