I just realized my 180's out is Easter Sunday. Will I still be able to make my reservations? Also, any advice on how to plan? I am finding planning 6 months in advance very hard. We are on the dining plan 2 adults - 3 kids 5, 3, 17 months. Lots of character meals is my thought.
I would agree, and I'm not sure what your asking about the 180 days and if you can still make reservations. Once you hit 180 days (and I'm not exact on what that means, I would call the dinning line to know for sure)out your allowed to start making your ADR's, any time after that you can keep making changes and plans with your ADR's. But the longer you go from the 180 days out your going to have a harder time getting the ADR's that you want, that includes the times. I would suggest the earliest times the better for you because of the ages of the kiddos, that is unless you've got night owls for kiddos, then later hours would be great for you!
You don't want to miss character meals with the ages of your babies, I personally like with little ones to do the breakfasts, they are awake and not on the verge of being cranky. LOL Well most kids anyway. LOL (wouldn't have worked with my daughter)
Crystal Palace is so cool for everyone, (In the MK) pooh is there along with some of his gang, and if I were you I would get the earliest time they have 8:05 a.m. for this one, you'll get into the park before it opens as long as it's not Early Morning Hours (EMH) this way you'll have the Castle and Main St. to yours selves, well... almost.

This way you get pictures infront of the Castle without all the people in the picture!
Next on my list would be:
1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian~
My personal choice for times is about two hours out from closing, this way it's relaxed and we get more time with the Characters, the breakfast characters are Alice in Wonderland, The Mad tea hatter, Pooh and Tigger, and Mary Poppins out in the Hall way. This was a lot of fun, even with our 14 yr. old. But of course your time is best known by you on what you can and can't do with the kids.
BTW both of these places have very good buffet's, not to mention the atmoshpere of where you are can't be beat.
You could have breakfast family style at Ohana's with Lilo and Stitch which is at the Poly.
Dinner's are vast, so I'm not sure what to recommend there for kids here except for of course!
Chef Mickey's! It's in the Contemporary Resort.
1900 Park Fare again for dinner with Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremain(Cindy's wicked step mother) and the two evil step sisters. Which I hear is soooo much fun.~also hard to get if you don't make the ADR's quickly~
There is also character meal at the Cape May Cafe, with Goofy, Minnie and Chip and Dale, I think the breakfast is the only character part, dinner isn't.
You could also do the Princess Storybook in Norway (Epcot) @ Akershus Castle, I hear this is a family style breakfast served, but the princess can't be beat. Hope that helps.
