My 180 days is a few days away. Help!

hi, I understand I have to make dining reservations 180 days in advance. Well, for me that is in a couple of days. Yikes! The only thing I know for sure is we want to do a character dining experience (either Chef Mickey or the beach experience.) And we want to see Chip n Dale at the camp ground. We haven't even decided if are getting the dining plan. (Leaning towards it.) Do I really have to make all my reservations this week? I don't know what/where we will want. I feel pressured. Help!

If I counted your days correctly, that puts you at Disney the first week of December or so. We've never been that time of the year so I don't know how the crowds are--I believe they are relatively mild. Is it necessary to make all your reservations? I'm not sure. But I would definitely make the ones you wnat for the really popular places--Chef Mickey's or Cape May Cafe breakfast. We have never done the campground event so not sure what the crowds are like for that. But for other popular places like the Castle, LeCellier, Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends, restaurants with the Fantasmic Pakcage the Studios, Coral Reef, etc., I would definitely reserve those if you plan on dining at any of them.

It is VERY important to make all of your ADR's on your 180 day mark. In fact, if you are by any chance dining inside the castle or at Le Cellier in Epcot, you MUST call at 7am when reservations open! With the dining plan, and deluxe dining plan, you can bet that many locations will be booked and full early.

That being said, plan which park you plan to go to each day first by visiting disneyworld.com and going to the calander page to see the park hours, event times, etc.
Once you have decided which day for each park, pick restaurants that are nearby and convienient. I would recommend chef mickeys for breakfast. Since Chef Mickeys is nearby Magic Kingdom, you could do an early breakfast before going to Magic Kingdom on your Magic Kingdom day.

Also, in regards to crowds in December....we went in Dec. 2006 for 9 days and found it to be wonderful. Crowds were minimal and waits very short for the most part. Either way, restaurants were packed and you still must make your ADR's early! You can always call back and change them later, but you should still make them.

How exciting! We were there at the same time last year for my birthday and the Christmas season and it was amazing!

I will share with you some of our families favorite places to eat ~ first, we mostly do dinners, because we enjoy a sit down meal at dinner time. A lot of people LOVE the breakfasts and I am sure that they are great too! We like to grab a snack in the room and hit the parks at rope drop.

Our favorites are Crystal Palace (Pooh and Friends), 'Ohana, 1900 Park Faire, (Cinderella), Coral Reef, Le Cellier, Chef Mickey's, and Akerhaus (We don't like the food there all that much, but we LOVE the princesses)
