My 16 yo niece had surgery.....

Yesterday, MOVE In day for us, my mom calls to say that my niece went into the ER at 3 am with horrible belly pain. Finally around lunch time they did an appendectomy.

She was fine ALL day. Helped her parents do landscaping work. Around midnight her belly started to hurt, by 3 am she was really crying so they took her to the ER. The hospital did lots of tests including X-Ray, CT scan, barium enema .

I went to see her at the hospital last night. She had just woken up and was eating some GREEN jello. While we were there, the nurse got her up for the first time.

She was to go home today.



I told her if she didnt' want to help me move, all she had to do was say no! This was a bit extreme.

Being a young girl, I'm sure she'll bounce back in no time but I'm sure that was a scary thing for her to go through!
