So, being the hip chick that I am ;) , we went out and got some ICE Blue hair spike glue.

His hair is now blue!

And it washes right out!

My 12 year old wanted gold, so that's what he got.

We are indeed a colorful family!

I'm thinking of trying the purple myself!

You are a good mom!

When the day comes that my boys ask for colored hair, we will remind them that Daddy had purple hair once and now he is bald!

Hee hee! There's quite a few skeletons in our closets....we just hope they don't find the key to the door to let them out!!

Many years back my cousin would use Kool-aid to chaange her hair. She often had green hair for weeks.

Everyone on this board should try green hair at some time in their lives.

Blondie - I bet that you are the coolest Mom ever in their eyes!:D :D :D

My 6 year old has blue hair. I used the same stuff. :)

They all have cool names; my 12 year old's is called Bling Bling Gold and my 11 year olds is called Vodoo Blue!

The green one is called Toxic Green! I think it should be a requirement for all the DISCON goers!;)

I agree... unfortunately it wasn't for me at all.

Oddly enough that was one of the weird things my mom & dad let us do when we were younger. They were so strict about everything else but my sister had purple hair once and I had many different colors depending. It was fun to do :)

Oops, correction, he doesn't have the Vodoo Blue it's the Smash Blue, which has a little bit of green in it, making it almost a turqoise color.

My daughter just turned her hair back to a normal colour. Disney rules.

:teeth: It's something so easy to do and so easy to get rid of. lol

Shep, I wish I had one to share with you all!

Hey, nothing wrong with it.. I spent most of my jr./sr. year with multi colored hair....

Where did you find it? Is it a Halloween thing?

The Middle School (not sure about the High School) has banned colored hair. They say its too much of a distraction........ one of DS's friends had her hair dyed a very deep red, she had to have it redyed or face being expelled.

But I guess the 8th grader with the mohawk with the big spikey things is not distracting.......;) (Actually I think mohawks and dyed hair are fine, as long as the spikey things aren't so sharp that they could impale someone!!)

One of DD's friend's used the green koolaid in his hair in elementary school several years ago and it took months to grow out!!

Cindy, the colored spike glue is put out by ICE brand. You can find it in most salons, including those in the malls.

It washes out very easily, we found out last night!

And no, it's not just for Halloween!

I found this link so you can see what we're talking about!
