There have been a number of posts recently concerning the various cruises available at HH. They sound wonderful and I would like to know whether anyone had difficulty in getting reservations for the cruises. Am I going to have to reserve prior to going down to assure our seats? Thanks for your help.

We had no problem scheduling both the Dolphin Cruise and the Beach Combing. We called first thing when we got there and arranged the Dolphin Cruise -- we got our pick of when we wanted to do it. From what I understood, the Dolphin Cruise is done throughout the day. We scheduled the Beach Combing with 2 days notice -- I believe that's only done at low tide so there's a chance to find shells. If you do the Beach Combing, here's a hint to try and find sand dollars -- don't look where the water meets the sand -- check out the area where high tide was. The ones we found in the surf were alive and had to be tossed back but the ones up higher on the beach were not. We had two wonderful experiences -- I hope you do too. Enjoy.

Hi!

We were at HH in mid June and did the Dolphin Cruise. My DH called on a Wednesday afternoon to see if any cruises were available for Thursday or Friday. He called the number for "activities".They said it was completely sold out.

Just for the heck of it, my DH called Thursday am. He called the number for the Dolphin Cruise itself. They had about 4 openings for us to choose from and were never soldout as we were told.

We took the cruise Friday. It was WONDERFUL by the way:D . Anyway, Dh was talking to our captain Scott and somehow got on the subject of making ressies. DH told him our story and Scott was on the phone setting the activities number straight.

We weren't doing this to make a fuss......but my point is to keep calling or try a different number if you find things are already booked/soldout.
