My 10 Day 10th Trip!

Welcome to my first trip report! This will be my 10th trip to WDW and I am super excited that it will be my longest yet!

This trip was DS's idea, we typically go every two to three years, so we were about due but he got the ball rolling. This will be our first family trip during the summer, so we decided to make it longer to combat the crowds and heat. DS is a freshman and I just didn't want to take him out of school. In addition we will be spending three nights after our Disney stay at a time share in Orlando recovering from Disney and visiting some family and friends in the Daytona Beach area and The Villages.

We are booked for our June trip thru Walt Disney Travel Company, I always book thru them because I have an incentive program thru work but we must book thru them.

We are booked at the Carribean Beach Resort for ten nights standard view, with the Dining Plan, Park Hoppers and the Water Park feature.

We have never stayed at CBR and were hoping for the WL, but I just can't justify the extra $1100. But you never know, two trips ago we upgraded from POR to GF for only $400. We have stayed at WL twice and really like it, but we have also stayed at POR and CSR and had a great time!

Speaking of the number 10, we spent our 10th Anniversary at Disney, here we are back in December 2005:

I spend a lot of my time on the DIS on the Dining Boards and plan to do a complete recap of the finances of the Dining Plan. Our plans as of now are as follows:

I almost forgot DD will turn 10 while we are on our trip! Maybe this will be a lucky number for me! We will be eating at BOG on her birthday! Here she is on her last birthday:
