Sorry if I don't have the right short form...Mickey's Very Scary Halloween Party.;)
Anyway, has anyone done the party on the very night--31st.
Did you find it packed?
We will be there Oct.24-Nov1, and trying to decide wether to go during the week before Halloween, and doing Halloween night along Boardwalk--staying BWV, or just to put up the money, and risk the crowds to do the Halloween night party.
Thoughts???:confused3

For sure, MNSSHP gets busier and busier the closer that you get to Halloween, and I'm quite sure that the party will be packed on the 31st. That said, the park does empty out as the night progresses, so you can hit the major party attractions on their second showings with a lot more enjoyment if you can wait until later in the night to do so. MNSSHP is great fun, though, and we'll be there on September 25th, packed or not!!!

This past year we went the week before simply to avoid crowds and friends of ours chose to go the week of - they bought their party tickets the day they went on sale and they did sell out. My friend noted they arrived at the park about 2:30pm on Halloween and the park was fairly quiet for a while - they even opened up the treat lines a little early - however she also added that by parade time it was CRAZY - no chance of seeing the parade and the lines were super long for the rides that were open. They have three kids ages 2-6 and stayed until about 11pm but said they will never do Halloween night again.

LOL...I don't mean to laugh, I know it is an innocent and honest question, but...I don't think Disney wants to make Halloween "VERY Scary".

I just laughed when I read this and the thought of Disney freaking the hell out of kids made me laugh. LOL :rotfl2:

Carry on.

We went one Halloween, it was our arrival day, and it was very crowded. We couldn't stay very late, because we were all tired. Another year we went to the Boardwalk and DTD with the DGC for trick or treating and Halloween fun. That was more fun for them than. It was crowded too, but still, fun and free. I would be more inclined to go to MNSSHP before Halloween.

We went on Halloween night, last year. We had an absolute blast!!! We didn't think it was crazy busy. It was busy but very managable! We had planned on attending the 2nd parade and found a great spot (avoided the castle and main st) half hour before it started. We did lots of trick or treating, rode rides, met snow white and 7 dwarfs, watched the fireworks (amazing) , watched the parade. We had a plan and just soaked up the awesome night. If we were going to be there on Halloween again this year, I would attend without question.... Ask specific questions if you want. Have a great time whenever you go.

Thanks for your replies everyone.
OK, tell me a Disney movie that is not scary.:confused3
Bambi's mom gets killed, Simba's dad gets killed, scary witch poisons Snow White, and on and on.:scared1:

Still not sure what to do.
We did MVMCP(that one's easy), on a weekend in Nov. two years ago, and it was crazy busy--60-90 min. waits for space mountain, very busy parade route and fireworks, etc.
My kids want to do it on the 31, but may be thinking of doing it mid week, and doing Boardwalk on the 31st.
Anymore thought would be good.
