Originally posted by pixiedust519 One more quick thing and then I promise I'll be done with my incessant rambling (well... at least for a little while!! ) At the MVMCP you will also want to make it a point to visit the characters. In Toon Town you'll be able to see some of the classic favorites like Donald Duck or Goofy. Across from the Winnie the Pooh Ride there is a little cove and a lot of Disney characters will show up there. Mickey and Minnie tend to be in the area to the right of Tony's Restaurant. All of the characters are dressed in holiday attire and would make some really cute photos!! For example, Pluto was dressed as Rudolph! Just another tip for the MVMCP! (As you can tell, I can talk about this forever!!
I'm glad I could help! Christmas time is my favorite time of year at WDW. Even though the weather may not FEEL like Christmas (70 or 80 degrees) Disney does an excellent job at putting you in the holiday mood.
Fantasia Sam--Speaking of the characters, you will also want to see the Characters on Holiday bus in Epcot. They will have the times and places posted in the Times Guide when you get there. They have it several times each day and this is when the characters ride around in a big red bus and then get out to do autographs and take pictures. Well, during the holidays they are all dressed up in their Christmas gear!!! It is so cute! Make sure you find Goofy--he was my favorite. He's dressed up like Santa! All of the characters have great costumes so be sure to take lots of pictures.
Alyssa, are you getting a percent of the ticket sales for MVMCP? You should-you've been responsible for selling several of us on it just by telling us and being so enthusiastic about it. Looking forward to going!
LOL... well thanks for the compliment. I guess I'm just really enthusiastic about the MVMCP because I enjoyed it so much. I actually went twice in December!!! I went one week with some friends and then loved it so much that I went again the next week with my boyfriend! It was equally as much fun the second time around. The holidays are my favorite time of year at WDW and I'm sure you will all enjoy it too.
