We will be there Nov 13-18 (Thurs-Tues) planning on doing 2 days at MK, 1 at HS, 1 at Epcot. During this timeframe there is only 1 day MK is open past 7. So for our other MK day, do you think its worth it to skip the day time (as in trade it from a 3 day from 4 day pass) and buy the Very Merry Christmas party tickets? Or would it be better to go during that day to the park and have dinner around 6:50, leave after and call it a night? I have a 3 year old so she wouldn't notice the difference, but is it worth the hype/price difference? The price seams high for a 3 year old :(

Also if we do this, we will be doing 2 MK days in a row, is it better to spread them out and have MK be the last park of the trip?

Thanks!

Non-hoppers I'm assuming? What is the price difference in 3 and 4 day MYW tickets? I think I would go to the party, if for no other reason, being able to experience MK at night. It would also be good like you said, to spread the two MK days out. You could also do MVMCP on the same day as your Animal Kingdom day if you wanted since it closes early.

With a 3yo I would just do the extra park day. MK is lighter on party days, so you will get to ride more than you could on a non-party day. A 7pm return to a hotel, which doesn't mean a 7pm bedtime is probably a good idea...lets you stay up later other nights that week.

If your child were 6+ I would go for the party. They are a lot of fun. My favorite parts were some of the things I didn't know about (pirate musician show), etc.). Weather might also come into play...so decide last minute.

We did the MVMCP this past December. Our kids are 7 & 9, so the late night was not as much of an issue for us. It was pricey, but it was basically like having a fast pass for nearly every ride in the park. We did not wait in one single line. Not one. To us, that's worth the price. You may want to take into consideration when you're planning your day, we were allowed in to the park around 4:00 pm, even though it didn't officially start until seven. (This did not cost us a day on our regular tickets either). So even if you aren't park hopping, you could still go to another park during the day, then use your MVMCP hard tickets to get into MK.
